Parish History

In February 1975, Wyoming was created as an Experimental Pastoral Area, and Rev. Henry Varcoe was appointed Priest in Charge. At this time, the EPA had four church centres: All Saints Narara, St John’s Lisarow, St Peter’s Ourimbah, and Holy Family Wyoming, which met in the present ministry centre.

Between 1975 and 1994, the other centres were either sold or demolished, and a new multi-purpose centre, pictured above, was built at Wyoming. It was dedicated in October 1982.

On Monday 9th April 2018 we welcomed The Reverend Hilary Wong as our Priest -in- Charge of the Parish of Wyoming
